Make your own way to Nanjing from elsewhere in China or abroad. Take the airport or station arrival shuttle to the hotel and enjoy free time after check-in. Complimentary arrival transfers operate until 23:00. After that time, make your own way to the hotel or choose a paid transfer.

After breakfast and half a day of free time, visit the Confucius Temple–Qinhuai River area and Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, including return internal transport at the mausoleum. If parts are closed or arrival is late, visit only the open areas. Continue to Oriental Salt Lake City. When staying in an inn inside the attraction, explore Daotianxia and try snacks independently. If the inns are full, an equivalent hotel in Wuxi or another nearby area substitutes; staying in Wuxi means no free time at Salt Lake City. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
