Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Shanghai / Oriental Pearl Tower's second sphere
Make your own way to Shanghai from elsewhere in China or abroad, and contact the pickup staff in advance. Pickups run from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, Shanghai South Station, Shanghai Station, Hongqiao Airport and Pudong Airport; please arrive by 14:00 at an airport or 15:00 at a station. You are taken to the Shanghai Bund Tourism Service Centre, where early arrivals can store luggage and explore Nanjing Road, the Bund and the City God Temple bazaar on their own; ticketed events such as lantern festivals are extra. At 17:00 the group meets to visit the Oriental Pearl Tower's second sphere for at least an hour, then checks in. If you miss the Bund meeting time, you can be taken straight to the tower to join the group; if you reach Shanghai after 17:00, you go directly to the hotel and miss that day's tower visit.

Day 2Maglev, Madame Tussauds, Sinan Road and sightseeing bus
After breakfast, take a one-way Shanghai Maglev ride and visit Madame Tussauds for at least 1.5 hours. Explore Sinan Road and Sinan Mansions, then ride a double-decker sightseeing bus. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense. The evening Huangpu River cruise is optional and paid separately. Non-participants may wait at the agreed location or make independent plans; the tour vehicle does not provide a separate hotel transfer.

Day 3Shanghai Museum East / Shanghai departure transfer
After breakfast, spend at least two hours at Shanghai Museum East. If it is closed, at capacity or cannot be reserved, you visit the museum's original building or Sihang Warehouse instead. Coordinated departure transfers follow: book Hongqiao Station trains after 16:00, Hongqiao Airport flights after 17:00 or Pudong Airport flights after 18:00, adding an hour on public holidays. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.

- Meals: breakfast on Days 2 and 3.
- Local air-conditioned group-tour vehicle, one seat per person. Pickup/drop-off points, departure times and attraction transport follow the scope specified each day; vehicle use during free time is excluded.
- Guide commentary on the arrival day, followed by tour-coordinator service. Driver-guide or separate driver/guide arrangements depend on group size and require confirmation.
- Main admission to the sights explicitly included each day. Reservation failures, closures and other conditional changes are described in the corresponding daily plan.
- Oriental Pearl Tower second sphere, one-way Maglev ride, Madame Tussauds, double-decker sightseeing bus and museum visits. If a booking can't be made or a site is closed, the alternative listed for that day applies.

- Guests arrange their own flights, trains and other transport to and from the destination city.
- If you buy optional-activity tickets independently but use group transfers or guide services, the corresponding transport and guide charges still apply. Confirm costs and meeting arrangements in advance.
- The evening Huangpu River cruise is optional and paid separately. Non-participants wait at the agreed location or make independent plans; a separate hotel return is at their own expense.
