This 6-day, 5-night route covers Nanjing, Yangzhou, Suzhou, Zhouzhuang, Tongli, Wuzhen, Hangzhou and Shanghai. It links Nanjing, Yangzhou, Suzhou, Zhouzhuang, Tongli and Wuzhen with Hangzhou's West Lake and Xixi Wetland before Shanghai. It suits travellers who want a packed Jiangsu–Zhejiang–Shanghai trip full of water towns, shows and city views, and who don't mind early starts, late finishes and intercity travel.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Nanjing / Check-in and free time
Make your own way to Nanjing from elsewhere in China or abroad, check in and rest at the hotel. The day is free for independent activities.
Day 2Confucius Temple and Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum
After breakfast and morning free time, meet the guide at the hotel at about 11:00. Visits to the Confucius Temple pedestrian streets and Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum start at about 13:00. If the mausoleum is closed, at capacity or cannot be reserved, the group visits Yuhuatai instead. Shuttles at the Confucius Temple and the mausoleum cost extra. Stay in Nanjing or Changzhou. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.

Day 3Slender West Lake, Hanshan Temple, Suzhou canal cruise and Zhouzhuang by night
After breakfast, visit Slender West Lake in Yangzhou, then Hanshan Temple in Suzhou. Take the included Suzhou Grand Canal cruise with Pingtan storytelling and music. Visit Zhouzhuang by night; complimentary immersive activities depend on the site programme. The Zhouzhuang shuttle costs extra.

Day 4Tongli, Wuzhen East, Pingyao Old Street and Romance of the Song Dynasty
After breakfast, visit Tongli Ancient Town and Wuzhen East, continue to Pingyao Old Street and watch the Romance of the Song Dynasty show before checking into a Hangzhou hotel. Lunch and dinner are included today.

Day 5West Lake, Xixi Wetland, Sihang Warehouse and Jin Mao Tower
After breakfast, walk around West Lake and visit Xixi National Wetland Park, including a one-way electric shuttle and complimentary scented-sachet craft activity. West Lake and Xixi boat rides are optional paid activities. West Lake shuttles required by traffic restrictions cost extra. Continue to Shanghai to visit Sihang Warehouse and Jin Mao Tower's 88th-floor observation deck. The tower visit is cancelled if holiday or peak-season queues are too long or admissions stop. The Huangpu River cruise is optional and paid separately. Lunch is included; dinner is at your own expense. Stay in Shanghai.

Day 6Nanjing Road and the Bund / Shanghai departure transfer
After breakfast, visit Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and the Bund, then take a coordinated midday transfer to Shanghai Hongqiao Station, Hongqiao Airport or Pudong Airport. Choose Hongqiao trains or flights after 14:00 and Pudong flights after 15:00; add an hour on public holidays. Guests using other departure points, leaving earlier or staying later for free time make their own way to the station or airport.
