Find your China destination by region
China is vast, and one trip usually covers two or three regions. We group destinations into Central, North, East, South, Southwest, Northwest and Northeast China; every live province page lists its cities, sight facts and bookable tours.
Hunan, Yunnan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Beijing, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Chongqing, Guangdong and Heilongjiang are live now — from Zhangjiajie’s peaks, Yunnan’s snow mountains and rainforest and the water towns to Chengdu’s pandas and Harbin’s ice. Other provinces are marked “coming soon” on the map.

Destination FAQ
Where should I start on a first trip to China?
Many travelers start with classic cities such as Beijing, Xi’an or Shanghai; if you prefer landscapes, Zhangjiajie and Western Hunan fit a first trip well. Tell us your days and interests and we will help you choose.
How many destinations fit in one trip?
Allow at least 2–3 days per city for an easy pace. Routes such as the water towns or Zhangjiajie usually run 3–6 days, and two or three regions can be linked into one longer trip.
How do I travel between destinations?
High-speed rail links most cities. Group transport and scenic-area shuttles inside a tour are arranged by us, as listed in each day’s plan.
When is the best time to go?
It varies a lot by region. We are verifying the best season for each sight; before you travel a specialist will advise based on your dates.
Can I plan a trip to a “coming soon” province?
