Travel Jiuzhaigou & Huanglong with local experts

Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong are both in Ngawa prefecture and were listed together as UNESCO World Natural Heritage sites in 1992. Jiuzhaigou is famous for its clear lakes and tiered waterfalls, most colourful in autumn.

Huanglong lies higher, its travertine pools stepping down a valley. Trips from Chengdu usually take four to five days; pack warm layers and take altitude into account.
