This 6-day, 5-night route covers Zhangjiajie, Wulingyuan and Fenghuang Ancient Town. The programme centres on the forest park, Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, Tianmen Mountain and Fenghuang Ancient Town, linking summit views, valley walks and transfer days. It suits travellers who enjoy mountain landscapes and old-town waterfronts and can manage steps and sustained walking; pickup and drop-off are in Zhangjiajie, so plan your own arrival and departure around the daily meeting and transfer times.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Arrive in Zhangjiajie / Transfer, check-in and free time
Make your own way to Zhangjiajie from elsewhere in China or abroad. You are met at Zhangjiajie West Station and taken to the hotel. Early arrivals can explore the city on their own; meals are at your own expense. No driver or guide accompanies you during free time. Staff will contact you in advance to confirm who will meet you, where and when.
Day 2Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Ten-Mile Gallery and Charming Xiangxi
After breakfast, meet at about 07:00 for Wulingyuan. Take the park shuttle and the complimentary one-way Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, then continue to Tianzi Mountain. After lunch, explore Tianzi Mountain and ride the complimentary one-way cableway down before visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery, where you can walk or take the sightseeing train at extra cost. After dinner, the complimentary Charming Xiangxi show is scheduled, though traffic, cancellations or other exceptional circumstances may prevent attendance.

Day 3Golden Whip Stream and Huangshizhai / Free time in Zhangjiajie city
After breakfast, visit Golden Whip Stream and take the complimentary return cableway to Huangshizhai, or relax at Oxygen Bar Square instead. After lunch, return to Zhangjiajie city and check in. The afternoon is free; dinner is at your own expense. You may book an outdoor evening show at extra cost.

Day 4Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and Glass Bridge
After breakfast, meet at about 07:00 for Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon and the Glass Bridge, with about three hours of sightseeing. The listed package includes the Treasure-Hunt Elevator, Sculpture Elevator, Rainbow Lake cruise and slide. Strong winds, heavy rain or other weather may close the bridge. After lunch, return to your Zhangjiajie city hotel and enjoy free time. Dinner is at your own expense.

Day 5Tianmen Mountain, Tianmen Cave and glass walkway / Continue to Fenghuang
After breakfast, visit Tianmen Mountain by the reserved cableway route, including Guigu Walkway, Tianmen Cave and the glass walkway. Through-mountain escalators and shoe covers are complimentary. The route and timing depend on the reservation and cannot be selected. Heavy snow, ice, thunderstorms or other weather may restrict access. After lunch, drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town, including the old-town shuttle. Check in and explore the town; dinner is at your own expense.

Day 6Fenghuang and Tuo River stepping stones / Local finish
After breakfast, explore Fenghuang for about three hours, walking beside the Tuo River, through old streets and by the stepping stones. After lunch, finish in Fenghuang or return by road to Zhangjiajie city, a drive of about four hours. Choose the finishing arrangement and onward transport when booking. Dinner is at your own expense.
