Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1Rail from Changsha to Zhangjiajie / Arrival transfer and check-in
Make your own way to the agreed Changsha station and take the included second-class train to Zhangjiajie. At Zhangjiajie West Station, transfer staff take you to the hotel. Free time follows; meals today are at your own expense, and no driver or guide accompanies you during free time. Check the station, train and meeting time in advance.
Day 2Yuanjiajie, Tianzi Mountain, Ten-Mile Gallery and Charming Xiangxi
After breakfast, meet at about 07:00 for Wulingyuan. Take the park shuttle and the complimentary one-way Bailong Elevator up to Yuanjiajie, then continue to Tianzi Mountain. After lunch, explore Tianzi Mountain and ride the complimentary one-way cableway down before visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery, where you can walk or take the sightseeing train at extra cost. After dinner, the complimentary Charming Xiangxi show is scheduled, though traffic, cancellations or other exceptional circumstances may prevent attendance.

Day 3Golden Whip Stream and Huangshizhai | On to Fenghuang
After breakfast, explore Golden Whip Stream and take the complimentary return cable car to Huangshizhai, or rest at the forest entrance plaza. After lunch, drive to Fenghuang Ancient Town; the town shuttle is included. Explore the old town and its evening scenery. Dinner is at your own expense.

Day 4Fenghuang and Tuo River stepping stones / Rail back to Changsha
After breakfast, explore Fenghuang for about three hours, walking beside the Tuo River, through old streets and by the river's stepping stones. After lunch, take the included second-class train back to Changsha, ending the tour. Dinner is at your own expense. Confirm the station and train when booking.
